Joey Serrichio has been creating paper doll versions of themselves. It’s a reinvention of an interactive online game they used to play as a kid.They’re an artist based in LA that likes to create works that juxtapose humor and trauma to show some of the best and worst aspects of humanity. They created a figure that they use in a lot of their two dimensional art that acts as a representation of action and emotion contrasting each other. People often act in opposition of what they feel or feel the opposite of how they act. They also create three dimensional pieces that have a somber yet humorous tone such as a life sized atomic bomb created out of a soft floral fabric or a head made of ice with a noose inside.
