LICE FELL FROM THE DARKNESS STRAIGHT
onto a mushroom. She bounced off it and onto another.
It took several more mushroom bounces before Alice landed safely on her feet.
Rubbing her arm, she looked up around her.
“Curiouser and Curiouser,” cried Alice, “now I’m surrounded by giant mushrooms.”
And indeed she was, on every side, and for as far as the eye could see were gigantic mushrooms, towering over her.
